SELCO SF-590 – SYNTHETIC REFRIGERATION COMPRESSOR LUBRICANT

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

SELCO SF-590 is a fully synthetic polyol ester (POE) lubricant specifically developed for refrigeration compressors using HFC-134a and other HFC refrigerants. It is formulated for severe service conditions, providing superior performance compared to conventional mineral oils. Its excellent miscibility with HFC refrigerants ensures reliable operation in standard and high-temperature refrigeration systems.

APPLICATIONS:

SELCO SF-590 is recommended for use in:

  • Refrigeration and air-conditioning compressors operating at high temperatures.
  • Reciprocating and screw compressors compatible with HFC refrigerants.
  • Low evaporator temperature systems where high stability and low deposit formation are required.

SELCO SF-500 - PAO COMPRESSOR LUBRICANT

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

SELCO SF-500 is a high-performance synthetic refrigeration compressor lubricant formulated for use with various refrigerants, including R12, R22, R114, R717 (Ammonia), R600a, and R-290. It provides excellent lubrication, superior thermal stability, and enhanced system efficiency. Fully miscible with conventional mineral oils, SELCO SF-500 ensures seamless performance; however, when mixed with mineral oils, some reduction in superior properties may occur. The lubricant can continue in service until a convenient system change is possible.

Recommended Applications

SELCO SF-500 is suitable for use in refrigeration and air-conditioning compressors operating with the following refrigerants:

  • Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs): R12, R22, R114
  • Natural Refrigerants: R717 (Ammonia), R600a, R-290

SELCO SF-540 SUPRA COOLANT is designed to meet the needs of rotary and reciprocating industrial compressors. The product exhibits excellent high-temperature properties coupled closely with outstanding oxidation resistance.
Currently available lubricants often compromise on compressor requirements. For example, reciprocating units using automotive crankcase oils formulated to MIL specifications can suffer from heavy carbon and ash deposits on valves. SELCO SUPRA COOLANT, on the other hand, is formulated solely for compressors.

RECOMMENDED USAGE:

SELCO SF-540 is a high-performance synthetic coolant formulated for use in a wide range of industrial rotary, screw, and reciprocating compressors. It is engineered to provide superior protection and efficiency in high-temperature and high-load operating conditions.

It is fully compatible with most synthetic and mineral-based compressor lubricants, making it suitable for use in:
